There are many opportunities to serve your local community. Consider joining a service organization or local non-profit to volunteer your time. Even doing a good deed for someone in hard times shares the spirit of giving. See the story about how HAI was able to help a client whose contractor left the country with all her money. HAI also volunteered its services to Junior Achievement for several years in the quest to find a location and funding. What you get out of giving is always greater than what you give!

“I feel the greatest reward for doing, is the opportunity to do more.” – Jonas Salk

A Good-Will Job Well Done

Unfortunately, some homeowners are faced with unforeseen challenges. When an unethical general contractor left town with this homeowner’s funds and little work completed, she didn’t know where to turn. Hirsch Architects, Inc. teamed with John Micallef of Riverbirch Homes to complete this client’s addition by providing architectural plans, construction management services and a timely completion of the project.

Greenacres Farmers Market

The unique farmers market was created for the owner’s retail and wholesale business established in the city of Greenacres for many years. The design emphasizes the market image and is intended to offer the community related market vendors such as bakery, flower shop, meat market, gourmet foods and prepared healthy alternatives. The 15,000 SF, one story tilt wall design incorporates the food logo in the front elevation concrete panels.

Did you know...

Hirsch Architects, Inc. designed the two-story, 80,000 square foot Polo Club clubhouse to encompass a multitude of amenities and activities under its unique facetted roof. The plan included a main dining room that seats 600 which can be partitioned off for smaller groups, a 200 seat grille, a 150 seat screened area, a cocktail lounge with dance floor and a "board room" which accommodates 50 people. Administrative offices, tennis and golf pro ships were also located in the spacious clubhouse area. Catering to the fitness trend, a health club and spa were incorporated into the master plan, with saunas, steam rooms, a unisex hair salon, loofah massage, herbal wrap and facials available to members. Aerobic rooms, exercise and fitness equipment and four racquetball courts round out the clubhouse amenities.
