Some homeowners require a combination of custom services. This
family had a member with special medical needs and required a
separate master suite that would be handicapped accessible. The
owner also required a live-in suite for care takers above the
garage. The project required Hirsch Architects to provide
comprehensive management services for architectural design and
construction process. The existing 5500 SF structure required total
renovation to blend in with the new 2000 SF of addition.
History & Heraldry
The award-winning gift company, History & Heraldry,
based in Rotherham, England, has completed a corporate presence in a
new South Florida facility. The new 24,000 SF distribution center
and base of operations is part of a major vision of growth for the
company. HAI provided a comprehensive approach to architecture and
project management which included property acquisition, site
analysis and building program requirements. The design process
required a rapid series of decisions to maintain an aggressive
timeline.
“Meet Your Neighbor”
Ken Hirsch, an architect, will help Nobel Peace
Prize winner Betty Williams build a center in Basilicata, Italy for
abandoned children of war. He met Williams during a Boca Raton
Chamber of Commerce luncheon in 2002.
