Les
Jardin is a luxury single family community developed by Amerifirst
Development Corporation. In conceptualizing this project, the focus
was "the garden" as opposed to a more traditional community centered
around a country club and golf course. With this goal, the developer
sought Hirsch Architects, Inc. to design complete architectural
amenities including the entry gate and privacy walls, the
clubhouse/sales information center, and the model homes.
Included in this package was the
creation of a special wall design and concrete molding process - new
concept that not only lends a special flair to the privacy and
village accent walls, but saves time and money as well. Privacy wall
designs set the architectural tone and style for many luxury
developments in Florida.
The uniquely designed master plan
provides for 18 acres of parks, landscaped areas and a clubhouse
complex. The clubhouse - equipped with facilities for entertaining,
an exercise room and a sauna - is surrounded by an expansive sundeck
for lounging, a large free-form pool, whirlpool and cascading
fountain. In addition, the clubhouse is also the starting point for
the 1-1/2 mile, 18 station fitness course that gently winds through
the 105 acre community. |
